After 15yrs away decided to dive back in with a IM 15. So excited to get back in. All the new innovations are amazing. Especially in lightning. No more sticking myself to the metal halides and dealing with constant heat issues. 1st time I've actually needed a heater to warm up water. 1st time using dry instead of live rock as well. It's going well. Ammonia dropping and nitrites/nitrates rising. Can't wait to get where I can start stocking.

Looks good man, great beginning! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: You might struggle a wee bit with the deep sand bed down the road, but as long as you stay on how of the husbandry you'll be grand! Best of luck, thanks for bringing us along!

Thanks. The sand bed is about 1 3/4". I want a sand sifting goby eventually and wanted it deep and mature when I add him. Enjoying doing the tests and everything that goes into it. I had a 20 15yrs ago so I kind of got used to the challenges of a smaller system. Water changes and testing is life.
