My IM Nuvo 20 long build

Looks better after working on it this morning. I have Astrea snails but I’m planning on getting one or two turbo snails, a few ceriths, and a small amount of other cuc. Need to pick up a couple peppermints as well as I’ve got a few aiptasia. I’d love to get either a conch or better yet a sea cucumber(the kind that sifts/eats sand detritus)
For me, the Mexican Turbo Snails are one of the best CUCs out there, the only bad thing is that they don't turn over on their own, that's why I've been adding Trochus lately.

Sooo…tank had gotten really disgusting . Not sure exactly why, but part of the problem related around flow. Thank goodness small tanks are easy to clean for the most part. After siphoning the sand and stirring it up a bunch and rinsing off rocks in tank water that I had in a bucket during the operation I think I got the worst out of there. Did rearranging of rocks so there’s clear flow space in back and opened up the rocks in general. Did all this yesterday. Also adjusted lights again. Less white and decreased the blues and violet for now (10/40/40-no green or red channels separate)

Let’s see, a few odds and ends. One is I only have one light again. Beginning of last week I was scraping the front and bumped a light. Not screwed down tight enough apparently, and took a dip. Did a quick grab and took it apart to try drying it off . No buemo. It tried but nope. And let’s see, ironically the algae or even possible Dinos have retreated since losing the light haha. I’ll be be moving soon. I got behind on rent and was given “notice to quit” by landlord’s attorney Friday. Not eviction notice yet, but the step ahead. So this will be in standby mode until I move.

I hope everything goes well, see you soon
