So after thinking about this, I don’t see how this is Dinos. You have some gha and green algae in the tank. Generally there would be none and dino would smother everything in your tank. Also your po4 and no3 numbers are healthy. If the pics above are recent, I would say not likely. The tank looks really good to me. How is the tank looking? All corals?

however your microscope pics look like it. I’m not sure if it could be diatoms or something else that look like Dino through the microscope.
I agree but the slide does look like the sand dwelling dino. But I'm no expert.
My parameters have never dropped when all this started. In fact its never been bottomed out.
And yea I did and do have some small algae on the rocks. Bubble algae by the ton. I'm slowly beating it by manually removing what I can.
Corals are all doing well. I have growth on everything in the tank. I just have an issue with a blasto that looks like its been picked at and now has holes in its beautiful face .
There's a light brown dusting on the rocks that blow off with a small blast.
The sand bed isn't great with a thicker covering on the sand bed. When blasted it clumps together. Its not snotty though.

All the pictures are recent this has been going on since, I think about late November.

My range marble snails are fine, as is my hermits and one nassarius snail is ok. Sand sifting star fish is also ok. I did try to add 5 trochus snails but they died with on hours of being added to the tank. Didnt move from where they were placed.

Ok maybe you do have an Dino issue. The sand pics kinda did it for me. Hopefully someone with better knowledge can chime in. Still love your tank. The pics look great.

Wow... its been a while.
The tank has really took off the last 6 months. Everything has grown so much.

No new coral since February. But I'm happy with the growth.
Yes the sand still has a few brown patches.. not as bad as the picture looks now.
Money is tight so for the last few months it's ticking over.

Thats is so beautiful. My chalice is the size of my fist now.. its ran out of room on its rock. I have two different reds. One with the teal base and one with a green. May have to remove them though as don't want it on the main rocks.
