dumps like a truck during shedding time. First time owner of this coral. Crazy how skinny it was a month ago when I added my first corals. I know only time before it spreads. But if her offspring are like her I’ll take 5.

Very beautiful! Tip... before you get any other corals, maybe a pack of Emerald Crabs to eat your bubble algae. Then you can pull them before adding corals they sometimes like to mess with. Best wishes.

Thanks for the tip. I do have a Ruby version of the emerald but I don’t think it’s bubble algae it’s just micro bubbles from my skimmer caught in the cyano.

thankfully the coralline is winning and stripping the algae.

What is you alk level
I try to keep it anywhere 8-10. I hear higher levels increase growth but my natural is like 8.
I actually used to dose and run 0 nitrates but I noticed my phosphate going up. Let nitrate get higher to 5 and noticed the phosphate lowering and algae dying off. PH is around 8-8.2.

I bought three a while ago and they haven’t grown much. When I had a tank years ago they grew like mad. I traded many frags to the lfs
