I’m excited to start plans on my first reef tank. It’s a 55 gallon all in one clear for life, and I have some big plans for it. I’m planning on building it into the kitchen island as we do our kitchen renovation. I’ve included pictures of the kitchen plans as well as a couple pictures of the tank. I just wiped it down today to get some of the calcium build up off. I have 2 Noopsyche pro 2s and one Noopsyche V3 for lighting and plan to get some live rock and sand to start out.(suggestions welcome)…I was thinking of using this thread to post pictures of the project as it goes along. Thanks for checking it out!

You may want to create a build thread in the build forums so that you can link this to your profile.
Ok should I delete
Are there any problems with fumes and smoke from cooking? I know people re paranoid about aerosols near their tanks
Definitely read into it a little bit, with proper ventilation and the tank being located a good distance away from the stove I think it will be fine

You could probably cut and paste what you’ve posted here. Build threads are great because people can watch the progress of your tank.

While I like the idea, in theory, I worry about when you actually start using your kitchen as a,,, uhh,,, kitchen.

From a practical stand-point, I fear you'll regret it when you want to do food prep and such,,, you know,,, for those big parties you'll be hosting?
