Stain applied to the control cabinet and currently have three coats of wipe on poly applied. Also want to give a shout out to the UPS man for bringing my new Trigger Sump.

Here is my homemade mangrove refugium, it's 18 X 20 x 23 High, its constructed out of quarter inch plexiglass. The back section is 6 by 6 by 18 that is going to I have a 6 in deep sand bed for the mangroves to root into and also give nitrifying bacteria place to live. I'm going to be lighting it with an AI Prime and because I don't see myself wiping the leaves every single day I'm going to install a reptile mister to give the mangroves a daily rain shower.

Refugium is in place (for now), it fits almost exactly how I wanted it to. It will spend the next week out in the garage getting leak tested.

Been working on this setup non-stop for about 3 weeks so I needed a break. I did putter around and design and start to build my algae scrubber. This is the top part trying to design some kind of brace that will lock down onto the top rails of my sump so I don't have to

drill holes in my brand new pretty sump. Did a test run with a 20 gallons per hour pump and it he will even lie covered the entire mess with water. I think the 80 to a hundred gallons per hour that I plan on running over this is going to do awesome job.

Wow talk-to-text sucked on that one, I meant to say that I ran a 20 gallon per hour pump over it and that was enough water to completely cover the entire mesh with water. The 80 to a hundred gallons per hour that I plan on running over it should do an awesome job and grow massive amounts of hair algae so it does not end up growing in the display tank

Plumbing on the DT is finally done after 36 trips to Home Depot today to buy fittings one at a time. Hint to people about the plum there tank, don't change the design halfway through the build.

Finally got it wet and cycled, Dr Tims one and all is awesome. Only took 36 hours for it to convert the ammonia drops to nitrite. 2 more days and nitrite was gone. One more dose of ammonia then a water change, then my Sump monster fish will be going into the permanent tank. Plan on starting the hood next weekend. Radion xr30 Pros are in the closet ready to go. On a side note I am contemplating redoing my Plumbing planning on running a separate pump for the manifold and the only using the Various 6 for return.
