What are your guy’s opinion on bottled coralline algae? Had any luck with it?

Not worth the money, coraline will happen on its own.

Black rock sea urchin

I recently purchased a black rock sea urchin about a little over a week over. When I first added him to the tank he was very active and now he has not moved from behind a rock for days. I safely changed his location so I can keep a better eye on him. I have noticed little pieces of spines...

Dude, it's a naturally occurring algea. The frags you're getting from the sale will have enough Coraline spores to seed your tank. In a year if your Coraline isn't taking off, it's because of parameters.

Good or bad is totally subjective. It keeps algea from growing on it, that's nice. It sucks alkalinity up, that's not nice. I personally like having my rocks covered in Coraline but scrub it off of all my glass including the back and overflow.

can you drill holes in ,or mount to back of stand 1/2" emt conduit ,2 pcs bent at 90 degree angle?

It’s both. Good as showing signs of a mature tank. Keeping bad algae from growing on stuff. Bad when it covers the viewing panes of the tank
