Well, i'm stoked about it so i may as well start a build thread! Had all the equipment for a while, but today the stand and sump were done so i got it set up. HUGE thank you to Ian (Bio-Nut) since i couldn't have done it without him. He basically built the whole thing (stand and sump!), all i needed to do was pay for it. The lighting in the house sucks so please bear with me on the pics! :) I'm still waiting on my black Starboard to arrive. It will be barebottom.

Tank - 24 x 24 x 15" 3/4" Acrylic
External Overflow w/ 2-1" drains (using Hofer Gurgle Busters)
Stand and Sump - Custom built by Ian (Bio-Nut)
Flow - Wavy Sea Plus
Return Pump - Ehiem 1260
Skimmer - Deltec MCE500
Cal-Alk Dosing - Bulk Reef Supply Dosing pumps
Controller - RKE w/ Net Module
Lighting - 24" AquaIllumination LED Module
Top Off - Tunze Osmolator

No water in it yet, but i'll clean up the wiring, finish the plumbing and filler up tomorrow! Can't wait to get started again, this is my first personal tank in about 6 months. I've been hating not having one in my house :)

Congrats Matt. That has to be the roughest part about running a business. The home tank always is sacrificed.

Thanks all, now i just have to try and sleep tonight and not get to excited about finishing it up! My Latz will finally have a home... :)

About time for a small update. Since i aquired to Juvi Latezonatus Clowns i couldn't help myself in converting what was supposed to be my chalice tank to a home for them. This is what i got so far, and i think it will be like this for a while. Trying to get them to breed eventually so i don't think moving things around is a good idea. You can only see the Female in the small nem but the male is in there. He lives in the big one.

Thanks! :)

I've always wanted a pair of Latz and out of 5 fish i've bought these are the only two that have remained healthy through the first couple weeks and actually paired up (most come into the states with brook). So, it was a no brainer to make it a tank just for them. I've had the female for about 6 months, and the male for about a month now and they are both great and eating spectrum pellets only. It took about 2 weeks for the female to stop chasing the male around, but they are finally sharing nems and swimming together. Patience actually worked this time... :)
