99,Hello everyone !
my name is Yanir , i'm 38 years old ' from israel.
I have been in the hobby for the past 15 years, I went through 2 tank collapses in these years, and I learned that patience and acquiring knowledge is the way to success in this hobby.
My first tank was a nano with soft corals and roses, from there I upgraded to a bigger tank with LPS corals, and from there to a bigger tank with LPS corals and some SPS and the current tank is my dream tank...:winking-face-with-tongue:
some technical details:
Main tank with a volume of 500 liters, extra clear glass of course front and sides.
Frag tank with a volume of 120 liters, which will mainly contain LPS corals.
Iron stand, covered with epoxy wood.
Sump with a volume of 200 liters, with a division of 4 chamber: a refuge chamber, chamber for the skimmer and diffrent reactors, and a return pump chamber.
The main filtration is a roller mat made by Theiling ,
It is followed by a refuge with Kessil led model 160 flora lighting.

Tank:

Display tank of 500 liters, frag tank of 120 liters , sump of 200 liters .

Filtration :
Skimmer is TUNZE 9430
Theiling roller mat
refugium
Trop-Tronic UVC 85w
1 reactor with Maxspect bio-sphere
1 reactor with active carbon
1 reactor with rowa phos
60 kg of Dry Indonesian rocks

Flow:
Return pump Red Dragon 100w high pressure , 9,000 l\h
Maxspect gyre FX350 - 2 units
1 MP10 pump for the frag tank

Control:
GHL profilux 4 + KH director and GHL dosing pumps will the manager of this tank :smiling-face-with-sunglasses:

Lightning :
Frag tank - Radion XR30 BLUE , gen 5.
Display tank -
At first, I installed a hybrid lighting fixture made by Giessmann ,model Aurora V8, with 8 T5 bulbs and 4 LED clusters.
This lighting fixture is great fixture , but not enough for the requirements of SPS corals, in my personal opinion. This subject was tested with a PAR meter.
Over the years, the most beautiful and healthy tanks I have seen was with metal halide lighting. Next week I will install my new lighting fixture - 2 metal bulbs with a power of 400 watts with 6 T5 bulbs, with a power of 24 watts each. The metal lights will be lit and activated by 2 electronic checks made by Lumatek.

Dosing:
GHL dosing pumps. they will dose Tropic Marin 3 parts (balling method)
Also
i will hook up kalkwasser to the system to boost ph levels.

Tempeture:
The system will bo cooled by 1 HP chiller / i it will be heated by 2 units of 300w titanium heaters and also by Mh:winking-face-with-tongue:

The tank is ruight now at the end of the cycle , here is some pics of installation and progress , have a great weekend !

Your plumbing is spot on, I have the same OCD and everything will be in its proper order as well. I start my build in October. Not my dream tank yet but a good start.

How do you like the red dragon? I purchased the same one for mine.

Yes ,you right....I have OCD issue with the plumbing
The Red dragon is heavy duty equipment for my opinion.
I'm operating it at 99% power and I barely hear noise .
one thing to notice is that the diameter of return pipes should be 32 mm , not less then that.
she gets 9.9bof 10 score at my rate.

Love the metal halide decision. You can't go wrong with that lighting set up in my opinion. Good Luck!

Thank you ! I used almost all type of lightning fixture in the last 15 years - leds and T5's.
this is my first time with th MH ....and wow they look very different from leds and T5's ! the shimmer is simply amazing !
the colors of the fish is natural , and look very nice. the spread is almost perfect through the entire tank.
The PAR numbers is also very good - 500 at the top of the rocks (my aquascape is at 25 cm high) , bottom of the tank the readings is 270 and right below water surface is 700 .
I am very happy with the results
