Hello, I am new here and hope I can get some help.
I recently got a new Valentini puffer on Friday August 4 and she hasn’t eaten. It is now Tuesday August 8 so she hasn’t eaten in 4 days.
I have tried giving her mysis shrimp, clams, squid. She doesn’t even nibble at the food, I’ll drop bits of food in front if her using tongs, she looks at it then turns and swims away.
I am unsure as what to do to get her to eat, I am considering offering her lives food.
Any advice? Thanks

Do you see it picking at the rocks? It may be eating pods etc. you may need to try live food or fresh clams if it’s really not eating.

I have been watching it closely since Tuesday and yes she was picking at rocks, and today she took a few bites at squid and I saw her poop, so that means she is eating. Thank you!
