Thanks, I wanted minimal contact with the sand and lots of space for fish to swim. This should work for now

So work has been consuming me lately but I thought that I would update this post with an equipment list. I do have a short update for you picture junkies like me. Thanks for following along everyone!

Dual 7" filter sock camber (one filter sock and one filter cup w/ carbon)
Nyos 160 skimmer
2x sheets of Marine Pure

(need recommendation for 2 pumps on the back wall to shoot forward, need to be fairly low profile, I was thinking about those new Coralbox pumps that Reefbreeders is selling)

Looking good! That is one of my favorite lights for sure. I went all Orphek for my 170.4/5 but it was a tough choice for sure! How are you liking the Nyos skimmer? I have a Vertex 180i right now but that AC motor is so loud.

Let's see a picture of your tank! Have not had the Nyos running very long but build quality is great. The only thing I do not like is the skimmer cup is tough to remove sometimes

All I have to say is WOW!! This is by far the nicest light I have ever seen. This thing has to be a par monster

Love the light output but geez is the software terrible to get working... no support for mac is kind of hard to deal with and even downloaded on a windows 10 laptop and it will not load... what a pain in the a** this has been

The rockwork isn't how I'm going to keep it. I had to get all the live rock from the tank it replaced in there plus the new rock to avoid a cycle. Will take a bunch of rock out in a few weeks.
