So I decided after sometime of being on this forum I would share my reef.

Tank: Solana 34 with out AIO wall. I removed the AIO system about two years ago and added a Glass-holes overflow and 15 gallon sump.

Equipment:
Ehiem 1248 return pump
2 X MP 10 for intake flow.
Bubble Magus 3.5 + skimmer.
15 g Sump
Koralia Evolution 750 for slow inside sump.
Sunpod 250 watt MH with Phoenix 15k bulb which was just replaced.
LED Actinic Supplements.
100w titanium heater.
Tunze 3155 ATO w/Osmolator pump

Cool how nervous were you pulling the back out and drilling it?

razor blade and patience and the only nerves I had was if the back panel was going to fall off. I did some research on removing the back and if the glass could be drilled. It added 4 inches of space and more volume to the tank.

It was one of the positives I have done with this tank. I have learned a lot and made my share of mistakes.

Other than removing the back, Tunze ATO and Kalk Reactor is the next two positive additions. Corals are loving the stability which was lacking for such a long time.

I actually am thinking about purchasing another Solana and doing it "right" with a bean animal overflow.

What kalk reactor do you have? I am looking for one now. Either an Avast Marine or Reef Octopus. Man those things are expensive! It's a safe and convenient way to dose kalk. I will use it with a two-part system.

Yes they have good equipment. I would purchase the skimmer but since I have points with BRS I will be getting the Reef Octopus to replace a Bubble Magus 3.5.

Thanks Rev!

I am going for a bonsai look with the new rock I have cooking. the rocks you see will be the base rocks around the bonsai branching tonga. Hoping the new look will enhance this tank more.

I wanted to update you all. I stopped running the Kalk reactor because of ALK spikes. WHy the spike well mostly because of high evaporation and the Kalk reactor was inline off the ATO. I bought dosing pumps from BRS and will be going that route for the next build which will be a 60 gallon. I will be upgrading soon.
