Since the time switch, my radion has not acted accordingly.

It's a XR30 G4 Pro. Whenever I plug it into my computer and load up Ecotech Live, it seems to understand the time. But when it's unplugged, it doesn't seem to take note.

So my light is on an hour late, and off an hour late. And doesn't seem to understand the time change.

What might be missing here?

I noticed the same thing over the weekend. But on my ecotech Live screen it has the wrong time posted. I went into the time settings and couldn't find anything to do with dlst. I just moved my schedule.

In 7 years of having 1 or more Radions I have had to go into ESL and manually change the time every single time daylight savings time changed.

I manually updated the time by connecting it. Silly to have to do that. I have wall timers for my outside lights that do this automatically.

I also have issues every year with the lights not adjusting for DST. This is really disappointing for a high end light to miss on such a rudimentary task. I spent an hour over the weekend attempting to manually change the time so it's correct but still can't get the time adjusted on my lights.

Yep. I love my radions, but this is an issue every time the time changes. I'm guessing there's an easy way to update it, but I'm not sure what that is.

Are you guys using a reeflink? I think mine changed automatically. I know I did nothing to change it. You cannot expect the light to change all by itself if it is not connected. The Radion was made for all countries and states. Even those that may or may not observe DST.

No reeflink here, my reef is next to my desk/computer so when I need to do things I just plug it in manually. Which i've done, and tried to adjust time to no avail. i'll give it another go.. Maybe it was user error last time I tried

I tried again last night, and it worked as it should. Auto --> Set ---> program. Whew!

i use reeflink as well and no problems- time changed and no issue. I think having reeflink is a key to the Ecotech system for automation IMO

Well if it works great. If it dosent get a reeflink!

I don’t really think the solution to a simple few lines of software is me buying a $100 piece of hardware so it can adjust the time. I rarely adjust my lights so plugging in a USB cord makes sense for me.

Maintaining time accurately just seems like something a device which is time-based should perform without superfluous external hardware.

As someone that writes software for a living. I could not agree more.

I also use a reef link for my Radions. Time adjust automatically.
