Well today was deeper cleaning than normal taking out some larger rocks and scrubbing the bubble algae off. Disappointed on how many frags didn’t hold in place with the glue. 10 gallon water change.

New fox face has arrived at reefprenuer he’s making sure it eats and survives. That’s great!

lemone is becoming my favorite to watch . It’s amazing how much those wrasses eat. They all have to eat fast or piglet gets it all.

Piglet continues to terrorize the tank. Mostly chasing lemone but occasionally giving his attention to the clowns. One time it was almost like flashing the clown. The only one it ignores is the springiri.

Fox face has been in and doing well for almost a month. He is king of the tank for sure. Fairy still chasing lemon wrasse but both seem to be doing ok. I'm guessing the wrasses have wiped out the stomatella population. Not seeing the snail eggs anymore and when I vacuum the bottom stomatella shells are present. Since vacation, Algae is non stop battle use turkey baster to blow off side walls and rocks. Clean front glass every other day. And manually pull hair. And changing filter floss every 3 days usually shortly after I turkey baster the whole tank. On the good side bubble algae hasn't been able to compete.

Hopefully Kenya tree is not canary in coal mine because it’s all shriveled up today.

Duncan took a spill a while back and has been going down hill. I probably should pull it out.

I need to find better method for securing corals in rock work as they keep falling.

So hammer fell and now my clowns have taken to use it as host. Hum will that be a problem?

Haven't seen stomtella in main tank in some time. I still find them in the sump. At 4 am I went down with flashlight in hand and could not find a single one in the 54 gallon tank. Amazing since I had thousands. I guess the wrasses really enjoyed them as snacks.

Update overdue. Horrid Algae stage subsided. Not sure if roller coaster as I'm seeing bubble algae again (thats how it started last time). Front glass needs a clean up every few days. When I had a million stometella I guess they kept it clean as I went a month without cleaning glass. I'm not sure if there is a single stometella left in system since the adding the wrasses. Not really seeing baby trochus either.

Did a big water change today and sucked up the torch in hose it wasn’t ptetty. Definitely got a trim from it. Hope it’s not the beginning of the end.

cleaned out the algae scrubber and found a stomatella (almost got tossed into the yard but it clung to the bucket, and wish i had gone through the algae better). Anyway moved it to the 20 and hopefully I find more and can start a new colony. Love the lemon meringue wrasse though not sure it's worth loosing all the stomatella.

The torch is still with me after the siphon mishap. Though definitely smaller. Fingers crossed it recovers.

Woohoo late night tank check and saw a big stomatella. Maybe there’s a few more hold outs.

Am I the only one that worries about their tank when they’re away for even a couple days?
