The versa’s are on now I’m using 1 to dose zeostart3 1ml a day the versa seems like it’s handling it, I’m dosing ALK by hand right now. Keeping it at 7dkh and I don’t know if I’m going to dose 2 part or go with a calcium reactor (start up cost is killing me!)

Ok guys I’m upgrading my SCA120 to a Reefer 625xxl (not a big upgrade) this will be my 3rd tank upgrade and I’m hoping to get it half way right this time my SCA tank is not bad but There are just something I know I can do a lot better, Not only will this be a upgrade but I will be moving all my livestock over to the new tank which is 45min-1hr way (wish me luck), new house so I thought an upgrade was appropriate, tank will be here Friday.

Nice tank. I'd love your feedback after the coralline booster runs it course. I did it, got encrusted coralline EVERYWHERE. Then after a month or two it started melting away, and replaced with a cyano bloom. Not sure if it's related, but nothing changed in the tank.

I will try to keep you posted on if it stays or goes away after a couple of months

Tank update, everything seems to be doing well. I’m still doing zeovit here are some pics of the corals. I’ve only had 1 and 1/2 deaths the 1/2 is there because one frag is still hanging in. If anyone is interested this is what I’m doing as far as dosing

Zeolites: 1,2l (360 L/h flow Skimz ZAR-157) replaced every 8 weeks
Activated Carbon: 0,5L replaced every 4 weeks
Zeobak: 6 drops 2x week Tuesday & Saturday
Zeostart: 1,2ml/daily (divided into 2 doses 6am and 6pm) dosing pump
Sponge Power: 6 drops 3x a week
Zeofood plus: 3 drops 2x a week
flatworm stop: 3ml/daily dosing pump
Coral Booster: 3ml/ 2x a week
15 Gallon water change AWC
It seems like a lot but it’s really not that bad

My new skimmer just got here reef octopus elite 200 an upgrade from the ASM G2. when I say upgrade I mean upgrade, the G2 was loud spitting out salt creep everywhere it didn’t seem like it was skimming well at all. The reef octopus is so quiet and it looks like it skimz right out of the box. The wise old tail you get what you pay for is kinda true hahaha

Tank update everything seems to be doing well. I have added a 1/4hp JBJ chiller alongside a backup battery getting ready for this Cali summer, I do a 10gal water change every week, I’m still doing zeovit and I’ve also added to this reef frenzy, BW coral amino and reef nutrition phytoplankton (be cautious with that It will raise PO4 fast). Here are a couple of more pics of the corals my JF Homewrecker is now showing some pink/red color I’m happy about that so everything is coming along nicely so far
