What type of tank? Do you have size or space limitations? Is it going in a sump or AIO chambers.

I use the IOAOI Nano Protein Skimmer for Saltwater Aquariums, DC Pinwheel Pump for 30 Gals Fish Tank, Hang On, Internal, Not for Rimmed Tank. It’s $60 on Amazon. It’s a little fussy to adjust but the price is right. From what I’ve read, most of the nano sized skimmers are trickier to dial in and keep dialed in.

I used this in the back pump chamber of a Fluval Flex 32.5 gallon AIO tank.

My suggestion:

I use it on my 10gal…
Bit pricey, it is made in Germany but it keeps on working….
