My shallow reef build 13gal + 12g sump

So stage 2 kicked in, Still no signs of dinos but I would love to turn my skimmer back on for the ph, yesterday was the first time I could see nitrates in the water and my skimmer has been off for about a week [emoji848], it was reading around 1ppm (Red Sea pro) so, either I’ll keep my skimmer offline or I could start dosing kno3 (potassium nitrate) the problem I see is that with more kno3 dosing the nitrogen cycle will pick up speed faster. Maybe just do a reefroid frenzy 2-3 times a week? What would you guys say?

Yeah they went down and wouldn’t budge, so I’m leaving it off for now, maybe run it on weekends or something ‍

Well it’s bouncing back ... slowly, finally seeing some colours coming back to my acros and lps
