I think my sump is mad I don't have a skimmer yet so it's taking the micro-bubbling into it's own hands... lol!

Ideas? The return is submerged below the water level in a sock. Ignore the sponge <3

Check your drain to see if you have a vortex above it, that will suck air like crazy. If so, then you'll need to add a bit more water.
