I was asked to build a tank thread for guidance and advice. This is my second tank. First was a 46 bow front. This is a 65 gallon with 20 gallon sump. It's a year old. I will post parameters when I take them later. Currently have a mocha clown, Talbot damsel, and a CUC in the tank. I recently added a 10 gallon QT due to losing fish recently without acclimating. Though it was never an issue in the past. Lucky, I guess. As you can see, I'm really struggling with green hair algae. I have a blenny and a couple more mocha coming on the first. Yes, they'll go into QT. My sump has uv sterilizer added and now a macroalgae reactor from BRS. My lights are AI prime 16 running Saxby program. Please, input is desired.

Here's hoping. Do I only run the reactor opposite of lights?

So, I just took my water readings. Not happy with the results at all.
SG 1.063
pH 8.0
Alk 6.1
NH3/4 0
Nitrite 0
PO4 .1
Nitrate 160

I'm running my skimmer all day. Macroalgae reactor opposite of light schedule. I have two mocha clowns and a talbot damsel. I feed sparingly every other day. I also have all kinds of snails and a conch in the tank. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried bag GFO in my filter sock (due to limited space in my sump) and that was nothing but a total mess. The green hair algae is now being joined by red algae. I need lots of help. I wish someone was in the Akron, OH area that could help me in person....

Forgot to mention. I'm using Salifert test kits for Alk. PO4, and Ca. I only have API for others. I know it's not the best, but it's all I have right now.
