Thanks guys it was a great trip

Good Grief, these are AMAZING pictures! It's incredible to see thriving wild reefs that we so desperately try to mimic in our home aquariums. Nothing compares to the open ocean and the beauty of what nature has created over generations! Absolutely STUNNING! Thank you for sharing!

This tho...

Yes Tonga's reefs are in pretty good shape. I was impressed and try to recreate some of those reef structures in my own tank

So nice to see you back.

I have been to the Kingdom of Tonga twice and actually thought of moving there. The people of Tonga are amazing as well as the diving.

Did you see any Tridacna?

Did you bareboat?

The acropora appear to be thriving and I see no Crown of Thorns in the images so that is good news.

Im posting up the trip to the giant clam farm next. There are a fair amount of giant clams in the area. Mostly maxima, squamosa and deresa sp. I went out with a great guy native to the islands and he took me around to the reefs on his boat
