Hey guys so I started my build after being out of the hobby for ruffly 4 years. My wife got me this beautiful waterbox 40.2 all in one with the stand. Right away I went ahead and upgraded from the filter socks to the intank media racks so free up some space in my rear chambers. For lighting I went with the radion ecotech g5 blue over the hydra 36 light only because I’ve done the hydras before wonderful lights but I went a different route. Return pump is a reef octopus vario s pump. Ice cap 2k gyre. Cobalt Neo therm Heater. Ice cap 1k skimmer. Jbj nano ato. Sea chem matrix, carbon and filter floss is all I have in my media chambers and about 25lbs of dry rock. Here’s some photos of my build. Awesome tank even though it’s the smallest system I ever did I really am enjoying this tank more than my past tanks. I had originally went with the AI Nero 5 wave pump
Worked awesome but the ice cap gyre creates a nicer flow for my tank with out blowing my sand around. It’s a 2x2 cube
