Hello!
This is my first saltwater build! I waited to create my build thread until after I moved the tank to our new apartment because we weren't expecting to move when I set it up so it was only about 5 months old when I had to deconstruct it for the move and build it again haha. But! Everything went really smoothly and remained stable so I'm feeling confident that I don't have to reset it's age so it's still 5 months old and not a newborn again

So I got an anemone from a guy that just grew a whole tank full of Rainbow BTA’s and it of course promptly moved to the back and wedged itself behind the rock but once it moved it appears that it was smothering a tiny baby anemone underneath it as well...very pale and sad looking but I’m hoping now that it’s getting some light it could bounce back!

Started collecting some more corals! They’re all small frags, but I like watching things grow and it’s cheaper lol

I’ve wanted a frogspawn since I started the tank but I had a hard time finding one that wasn’t huge and expensive at my LFS until I found this little hidden place farther away so I’m really excited about that one.

The Duncan was listed as just one head on the website but it looks likes it’s got three more popping out at once, which is awesome!

And the zoas that I have no idea what their names are because neither did the shop guy haha so if anyone knows what they are feel free to give me your guesses!

Got some things glued onto the rock work!

I removed the flow pump when I got the anemone because I couldn’t find a guard to fit it (Hydor Koralia nano 240) and I figured the waterbox stock pump would be fine, but I’ve been noticing a lot of detritus build up in areas of the rock work that don’t get as much flow without it so I’m trying to add it back in.
The anemone is displeased and shrunk back into the rock but I’m hoping it will stay in that general area and not go crazy wandering all around because I’m still not sure how to guard the pump from it...

I have thoroughly neglected my build thread and the tank is looking a tad different haha

The original euphyllia unfortunately died shortly after my post about them looking like they were disintegrating. Still pretty sure it was palytoxin from trying to peel some palys off my rock.
The original Duncan has hung in there and the rainbow anemone split and started wandering all over so I took it and it’s babies to my lfs. Found a cute green leather coral frag and grabbed that. Now have a couple new nems that are smaller and seem to stay put. Got a new frogspawn recently as I was ready to try again with them and also grabbed an acan frag that was on sale and it’s doing really well, gotten super puffy so I’m happy about that...uhhhh added some more zoas...I think that’s all that’s changed since the last update?
