I've had this shy little hitchhiker crab in my tank for months but it's been impossible to get footage of it. This is the best I've managed so far. It's little (maybe pinky sized if even) and has a red looking mouth and joints and I think stripey legs. Very long claws and antenna and some appendages it waves about in front of its head. Any ideas?

Thanks so much! Looked at some pics and feels pretty spot on :) Cute lil guy
If you have an Anemone, sometimes they'll be hosted like a Clownfish.

Omg I love that! I dont have one yet, but looking to get one for my clowns. Maybe I can convince the crab to move in also
Mine never did - I offered him 4 different BTAs. However, lots of people have luck with BTAs and with RFAs. GSP tends to entice Porcelain crabs as well!

I think that only works with certain types of porcelain crabs (porcelain anemone crab and the spotted porcelain crab), that looks more like the blue porcelain crab though.

I could be wrong though and I'm sure it's worth a shot.

Yeah, you could be right. Mine was a Black Anemone Porcelain Crab. It never took to any of the Nems.

I've seen a few of the plain red Porcelain crabs get hosted by several members on here recently.
