Hi

So I ordered some corals and seller threw in some freebies al corals were Lps so am assuming this is too

not knowing what it is I have no idea where to put it. Currently it’s in medium flow medium light. I see the polyps open just before lights out when I feed the corals so am assuming it’s doing ok?

whole shipment was delayed so was an extra day in shipping and arrived colder than I would have preferred

on a side note the hammer in the same order retracted and like half to 3/4 on one of the three heads bailed. But is slowly starting to come around.

I can’t say for sure, but I’ll bump for you.
My best guess is a favia, but it doesn’t really look much like one. Some sort of “open brain” coral.

Thanks after a bit of googling I was thinking Chalice but wasn’t sure cause of the shape but the polyps look like that of a chalice

What are people thoughts on keeping this on the same rock that is starting to be come a eyphilia garden.

This frag is about 1.5 inches away from a torch and a hammer but can easily be moved.
