[n00b asking] I got an "extra" with the rock piece. Is it tiny Xenia?

Hey can you try to identify this little "extra"?

I was doingthe research all day, I am new to reefing, is this tiny Xenia?

Looks like it! At the very least definitely nothing actively harmful. Just remember that Xenia grows like a week, and while that may sound great now, many reefers regret it. You can try isolating it on a rock but it can still bud off sometimes. Personally I'd try and use some tweezers or tongs to get it off, but up to you!

It looks like it could be from that genus, it could also be a species of Anthelia.

This is my very first batch of corals, I will regret later, now I was even happy seeing Asterinas (took three I found, out). Just starting my adventure :) Will keep an eye on it.

Happy to have various surprises, I got some corals on rocks with hithchikers apparently. The chances of getting some extra corals are huge as the tank it was from is a monster tank packed with corals.
