Just watched my C. nahackyi pair spawn for the second time. I recently started feeding 4-5 times a day again which is likely what triggered them to spawn. Its really cool watching the male court the female. He is currently swimming around the tank like a madman showing off his colors.
Hoping I can get a video of it next time.
Im sure that raising the fry would be a monumental task, but if its possible i’d like to give it a shot. Just thought this was really cool and wanted to share.

Impressive! I see that the tank's two feet tall, what's their spawning height (lowest point at beginning of spawning to highest point throughout) ?

They start from the bottom, usually a few inches from the sandbed. The male grabs the female and they dart all the way to the surface. They usually touch the surface but I guess they didn’t in this video.
