Amazing tank, loving the variety of life in it. Sorry if I missed it but could you recap the setup? Equipment and dosing? Interested as I hope one day my tank will be close to yours.

Welcome. :)
Thanks, it is 550 litres water volume, two tanks in one, it is divided at 100 cm with a swim through hole in the divider.
The other side is a display refugium, lots of caulerpa.
The sump has a large refugium as well.
I don't do water changes except in emergencies.
I manually top up with ro for evaporation and dose liquid supplements manually as well.
I run a skimmer as required.

No it is not that easy!

Run with water changes and let the tank settle for a few months.
Once your cycle is done, generally 2 - 4 weeks add things slowly and don't try and run before you can walk!
Enjoy your journey. :)

I know right and apparently I am sacrificing my sps to house it? ;)

Simon,
It's a really cool fish.
Your SPS will just have to be night bloomers... :D

Thanks, it is a scavenging little monster, swims with everyone. :)

I nearly tidied this up this morning and then decided against it.
Please don't tell @Katrina71 about the new addition in case she has a cuteness overload! ;)
It could easily perch on my thumb nail! :)

Lovin’ the fish you’ve added. It’s a heck of a playground you’ve built gotta let em in to play :)

Thanks. :)

I have been in from work for 1 1/2 hours now, I have not seen it peck at an sps in all that time!
I hate to think what my nutrient levels are! ;)
Brown acro from a few weeks ago and the Dis Waltney, as people have mentioned, my polyps will just go nocturnal hopefully! ;)

I want to do a post on the file fish but I wouldn't be able to keep up!
It really is swimming around like a community fish, early doors still, I really need to get a good pic of it and it's little pudgy tummy. ;)
I really like your little monster. I think if anyone can defy the odds, it will be you.

Ok, the bad and the good news.
I just removed the pocilipora, zero polyps, that has never happened, my stilo looks sketchy, if it needs to come out I will tear the tank apart to remove it! :(

The good, loving this newish guy, starting to show some base flesh colour. :)

Think it's the filefish causing issues?
