Thanks and very opportune question.
I have been struggling with coraline algae excess growth, it is killing corals at this point.
I know, shock horror, ... I had some water tests done on Saturday, my lfs manager asked for them.

Kh - 9.9
Cal - 230
Mag - 1200

I had Kh done again yesterday - 9.9
No dosing, no usage!?
We think the coraline is stripping the cal and mag as they are balanced but low!

In answer to your question Freddie, I use Reeflowers liquid Kh buffer and their All Elements for the cal and mag.
As of yesterday I am also dosing Seachem Mag liquid to see if we can get the numbers better.
I run my Kh 7.5 - 8.5 normally so I'm going to let that fall slowly.

My sps growth has slowed so it all sort of fits.

On a sadder note I had to frag the big green monti plate with the white polyps that was where the scopas is, bottom left on the sand now.
6 frags up to 3 inches, heavy duty Iodine dip, it just started to rtn this morning, reason unknown, my view from the desk, gutted. :(

About 4 months with the goby, no idea if it takes food or not, grazes all day.

Oh, yeah.. Awhile back I was called an Acro snob, so I always tease my buddies by referring to any non SPS as a non coral now. At this point it's just a habit lol.
