The second pair of T5s to come on are Blue+, I have to tolerate this for 45 minutes each morning when I am at home, I know it is good for the corals!
The third and then forth pairs soften it, I'm not a fan of the blue look but it is still there for them it just looks softer to my eyes! ;)
View from my desk end! :)

These 3 are sort of in a line back to front pics.
The green acro has ongoing issues, it will be dealt with soon, I am picking up new coral clippers tomorrow.
It was a rescue when I got it but it had been doing great.

The green polyp monti had a 3/4 inch die back on 1 branch recently, it stopped, again a job for the new snips. ;)

Dis Waltney hasn't shown blue in the base flesh for a couple of months! :)

There is a 4th coral there but it is a swine to get a picture of, I will try again later!
Oh and there is a smooth skin at the back, I'll try and get a pic of that from the front also! ;)

Number 1 choice at the moment is the geissman 4 x T5 and 2 x 85 watt hybrid.

If you're talking the Aurora, there is a thread on R2R about PAR output. I initially wanted that fixture, but it seemed it's output was far less PAR than a 4 bulb ATI T5 fixture. I had high hopes, but it seems to be 1/3 of the power of a Orphek, Radion, or 6/8 bulb ATI T5.

Reading this, I must agree there is something off with the Giesemann fixtures.
I had the 8x54W Matrix model and also had trouble reaching higher PAR levels.
Thought I was the only one with this problem, but now we are two ;Woot
My experience would not let me go down that road again and go for ATI, even for the hybrid.

I'll get back to you on the lights! ;)

I love the "hand" of the green monti, finger 5 needs to adjust it's growth "up"! :)
Setosa frag has hit lr at the back with base flesh.
Echinata had issues, it face planted for a day or 2, recovering well, lost 3 heads / mouths. :)
