I have been meaning to catch up on a few things, my dip experiment being one of them.
Having read a few pieces I decided to try raised Potassium as a general dip for pests.
I can't test the concentration because the kit I got won't read high enough, d'uh!
I use half a teaspoon of of the shelf supermarket "low salt", 50% Potassium in one litre of tank water.
It works out somewhere between 600 and 1000! (My water tests at 440.)

I dip for between 5 minutes and half an hour, pests fly off quickly.
I have never had a negative reaction with sps they just go into a massive sulk! ;)
The two £5 monti frags from today, brown at the lfs but they had hints of some colours! :)

"If you don't feed me right this minute daddy I will flounce off and never speak to you again, ever!"
... I get this for at least 40 minutes before supper time! ;)

Ok, dinky update, it makes me smile a lot!
As far as I know it sleeps in the pectinia, it also spends time on the island that is half a tank away, getting braver by the day!
And yes it now perches in the monti sometimes, when it's had a brave pill! :)
