My general lens is a 16 - 35 nikon zoom, I traded a wide angle for it, the auto focus doesn't work so fish pics are not a priority.
I won't use flash on the tank.

I usually use 100mm or 50mm for fish photos , with flash

I bought this from under someone's nose, 2 of us tried to convince her to buy it, she said no.
I don't want to frag it but I said I'd do her one, no rush! ;)
I will take it off the other side so I can't see it missing! :)
I have a pink that after a year it started branching and now is dropping twigs all over.

The lfs was clearing out some softies as they have an import due in, leathers at £25 each.
I have been working on my fragging technique, these six were made from two pieces with only 2 cuts, I now have 6 mini colonies waking up, the flat purple ones looked like they had green polyps. :)

I just caught the spotted mandarin, it is now in the s tank, it won't go hungry in there, I will continue to try and catch the little terrorist mandarin and she will be going back to the lfs.
I found the little red leather frag that went walk about and that is back on it's bit of rubble to settle again. :)
One of the blue sponge frags.

Got the baby angel, decided to put it in the display in the end, no issues. :)

... and whilst I was chatting the delivery from the local wholesaler arrived.
As soon as I saw this large bag come out of the poly box my jaw dropped!
I looked around and my mate who does most of the buying was grinning at me!
If I need to ask I can't afford it, he gave me about 20% off.
9 or 10 inch piece I guess, been after a piece (not this big) for a year or so, they would have fragged it which would have been such a shame.
I will frag it at some point, already promised a frag to a mate.
Now just to figure out where to put it! ;)

Spider sponge?

Yes, I did some reading before, did loads today, I knew I needed to care take of the sponge, having understood the zoa side more, this needs fragging hard and if possible zoas removed, there are lot of branches being strangled and the tips need clearing so it can breath properly.
Now I understand it better it should be easier to care for, sponges I can do and feeding isn't a problem! ;)
