Amazing tank and thread (still have 200 odd pages to catch up on), wanted to ask where in England are you? Some of the prices and pieces that you have added to the tank is far beyond anything that I have seen in real life

Hammer is ok, still sulks for no apparent reason. :)

My hammers need perfect flow in order for them to look all fluffy. If I move the Gyres even a little bit out of what they consider their "happy zone", they withdraw and pout for days.

Sounds like a strong similarity between your hammers and kids these days! :p

I have a magnetic frag rack I made, old glass cleaner, egg crate and cable / zip ties, I can move it and it changes the flow.
I just set it where it has deflected the flow a bit from them.
I hate playing with my flow! ;)

You know I love the £5 "departure lounge" section of my lfs' frag tank right?! ;)

This was always going to be red but two things made it stand out as not a monti, surface texture and also that it was saw cut on 2 faces so a quarter of a larger piece, there are very few montis you'd frag like that.
First thoughts are pavona but that will probably be wrong! ;)
I'll let it settle for a bit and get a pic from the desk end. :)

It has taken me 3 weeks to catch the jewel blenny from the sump, I didn't want to be removing pumps and stuff, now back in the display, if it kicks off again at anything it will be in a very small fish sammich! ;)
Bad fish, bad fish !
