I just netted the tassle file fish out and popped it in the sump, it has lost all orientation and was more or less being blown around the display, if it dies that will be 3 fish in 3 weeks, same as the cbb not a mark on it.
Sorry to hear this... any idea what may be causing it? Have you done any type of internal exam?

Does anyone else say "I won't do that again" and then do it again and again ... ?
Most of the coral trays are under leds at my lfs and the "nice" frags tray is under 2 x radion xr15s.
This is my purchase from last Sunday, in the shop all the bumps were blue! ;Facepalm

I moved the duncans slightly yesterday, the engineer goby knocked the torch over again so I used the rock the duncans are on to wedge the torch, I need to adjust the angle slightly as I have shaded two head including the baby.

Does anyone else have cryptic fish?
I was asked how many fish I have the other day and had to say that I am not sure!
I have no idea how many gobies there are, I sort of know what I put in but a lot were nano gobies so will have had short lifespans. I have put in 3 circus gobies and 2 paddle fins and I just saw one of the first pair of circus gobies I put in about 5 years ago, the one I put in a few months ago was a lot smaller and went in the cube.
I moved the red shroom yesterday to the shelf above the scopas' cave and was looking at it when the goby came right to the edge of the underside of the shelf, they live upside down on the roof of a cave but only stayed for a few seconds.
The reason for my watching the shroom is I know rics can be naughty and the red one is still expanding, I'll move the ric later.

This is "the shelf" and looking from the front it is against the back glass, there is more either side of this pic, the ric is on a piece of finger branch so in theory I can just move it back and up a bit, I will have bone cutters on standby in case I need to trim the skeleton.

Update on the shrooms move, the red one is settling well with the ric moved, I will keep an eye on it because it might go more light looking at this pic.

This one is wafting quite a lot in the flow, I'm going to place a small piece of rubble for it to rest on, one let go after a couple of days and I don't want to lose another.

This one is ok but only ok, we'll see.

This also gets good flow and appears to like it, I moved it back a few inches.

More to follow on the purple Vietnam ones as I am going to move their rock to more light.

The pink/purple/blue ric looks close to the colony i grew from 1 to roughly 20. Was one of my 1st corals in the 1st tank.

Couldnt find 1 single good pic. Lost on the last phone im afraid.

These are on a rock in the puddle and I can see five, I am thinking of moving them in here but I will have to replace the rock as it is a big branch if I remember so will be a large part of the filtration.

Ok, wider view, the sulky purple cabbage is directly at the entrance to the scopas' cave and I am going to swap that rock with the one on the left with the purple shrooms on but that is an awkward shaped rock to place, I have rubble ready to prop / wedge it in place.
This will really annoy the scopas tangs!
