any recommendations?

Bob The Cat GIF

Purple Tang is named purple, naso Tang naso convict tang convict etc. I stopped naming fish years ago because it always seemed the ones I named were the first to die so I stopped dooming them lol.
Exactly. I never name my fish, it’s bad luck.

Mine are:
Dotty the Dottyback (Neon)
Wally the Wrasse (Six-line)
Toby the Goby (Yellow Clown)
Christopher Chromis
PeeDee* the Pygmy (Cherub Angel) and
Trudy the Banggai Cardinalfish. Because my wife thinks she looks like a Trudy.
*PeeDee the Pirate is local university ECU's mascot. The school colors are purple & gold.
PeeDee:

Smudge (one-spot foxface with a smudged spot)
Dory (obvious)
Boo (Singapore angel)
Charles (Royal gramma, named after the king)

The others I haven't named.

Chip n Cheeto (Clowns)
Nugget (Midas Blenny)
Tom (Tomini Tang)
Elizabeth (Royal Gramma)
Stitch (Springeri)
and for the fish I want:
Pebbles (Some kind of goby)

I still name my fish, although when I first add them I give them about 2 weeks before naming them. Unfortunately after naming fish for 30 years I am struggling to always remember their names. Ha ha!

Blondie the blue eyed Kole tang
Hawkeye the longnose hawkfish
Ozzie the Ocellaris clown
Angelica the Coral Beauty angel
Guardian the YWG
Jack Blenny the Midas blenny
Sunset the Bi-color blenny
Tinkerbell the Solon fairy wrasse
Zorro the masked goby

I name most of mine.
Bandit purple masked angel
Sunny yellow tang
Beaker CBB
Jackson and Jillibean my 17 year old clowns
Draco mandarin goby
and more

Well what kind of fish is it? I have orangey , blacky and purpley. No I did not name them. Originality came from two year old.
We also named a few of our inverts:
Turbo the Zebra Turbo
Crabby the Emerald Crab
Shrimpy the Peppermint Shrimp
Originality came from a 65 year old.
We don't name our CUC species we have in any abundance. If we can't count 'em, we don't name 'em. That's the rule.
