Hey, i have the same acan as you mine does not look like the pic but i have seen their colony of the game over acan and it does look like the pic, my frag of the game over is starting to color up but is still not close to what the pic looks like

Looks like yours have a good amount of babies around the 2 polyps. Being a collector of acans shipping would not stress it out that much that it would be that much loss in color. Just my 2 cents.

I don't know what was the colors of the acan when you received but I have ultra rainbow acans with those colors change to orange under MH in a couple of weeks.

they were pretty much brown or dark orange with a little bit of white stripes right out of the bag .

This piece went from stage 2 to 3 (shock, almost all orange-red).
It was under MH for a year. Then moved back to t5 for 2 only two weeks now. I'm praying that after another 2 months under t5 it'll look semi-normal.

My MH sets about 20 inches above the water and the coral is about 10 inches below that . Its a 250 20k xm . I have 5 other colonies in the sump with it and they are looking great . Are the rainbows more sensitive to light?

Yes....My were about 24" from the 250mh off to the side and they still change color.Right now they in my sum too under 2x65w PC and LED blue.they seem to hold color well.
