Nano 15g fallow

I’m currently going fallow in my 15-gallon nano tank after my clownfish developed ich. The clown is in quarantine but isn’t looking great. My nano tank only contains live rock, sand, a mangrove, and some macroalgae. How long should I keep the tank fallow to ensure the ich is eradicated? Is there anything I can do to help or speed up the process? While I’m not in a rush and enjoy the setup with just the macroalgae and mangrove, I’d love to eventually reintroduce a healthy pair of clowns

Hi I had a similar situation about 2 years ago, keep them in there for like a month or two just to be sure. If you wanna speed up the process and ensure saving them they have some kind of ich medication for marine fish at petco. Hope your clowns survive!

45-60 days to allow parasites to die off without a host fish. While nothing goes fast in saltwater, bumping temperature to 80.5 -81 will shorten cycle slightly.
Use the time to quarantine new fish for 30 days to prevent reoccurrence

All right! Thanks, should I still do water changes as usual? And is there anything I can do to keep my cycled tank still cycled because if there aren’t any livestock in it couldn’t the chance be that all my nitrifying backtria will die? I have amonia, should I start dose it when I go fallow or will things be okey either way?

Add liquid bacteria occasionally such as MicroBacter XLM and change water right before re-introduction of fish. Dont use ammonia as you will be restarting the cycle although it does not mean you can't
