Have you checked water height? foam Installed below intake? If it’s a new tank, it will quiet down. Mine was loud as well and then quieted down after a month once coated with biofilm.

5 months old I’m going to take it apart tomorrow Red Sea rep said it may be the impeller. There going to mail me a new one.
