Hi!
I'm new to reefing but I'm a long time freshwater fishkeeper. I owe to fishkeeping a lot of things like friendships, work and even my marriage! I met my husband through the hobby.
My first reef is a nano (almost pico, 6,6g) in my work desk, it's a very nice tank with rounded corners and built-in sump.
Filtration:
I've cycled it with Seachem Seed for about 1 month, with ammonia and nitrite tests almost daily.
The day my nitrite tested zero!
My RO/DI system, I use it in freshwater too.
My rockwork, that I slightly changed after adding more corals to have a better view of them.
First inhabitants! Cloves "Papaya Golden" and "Red Sea". I just love their "tiny hands"
A picture of how it is now:
Photography is another passion of mine, so I hope you enjoy some pictures of my Livestock. My plans are to cover the main rock with zoantids and having some assorted corals in the sandbed, like the plates and mushrooms. I plant to build a bigger tank so the mushs and candy cane may have a new home in the future, since my tank is so small.
Zoa/Paly? Bloodsucker
Paly Sunny D
Zoa Utter Chaos, my fav
Utter Chaos + Reef safe Asterina according to the store owner
Zoa Gorilla Nipples (don't know if the name is accutare)
Mushroom Rhodactis "from indonesia" (seller didn't knew any fun name)
Mushroom Rhodactis
Candy Cane "Kryptonite", at day and night (I've removed the vemetids since this pic)
Plate "Wagon Wheel"
Feel free to ask anything about my tank!
