Hello, the light on my kids 10 gallon FOWLR just went out on Wednesday. It was just a cheap Aqueon kit, but surprised by the cost for replacement. Long story short I got the Fluval Evo 13.5 kit today for $95 off. I plan on doing the tank transfer tomorrow and want to make sure I didn't miss anything with my planning. Tank has been up since the start of January.

Current plan is to remove about 5 gallons into a bucket, then add the 1 fish, inverts, live rock, extra HOB rock, heater and wave maker from the tank to said bucket. Remove as much as I can of the last of the 5ish gallons into a different bucket. Then remove old tank and put the Evo in its spot, mostly ready to go. Fill with new new sand, then live rock. Add bucket without live stock. Add new 5 gallon of Fresh Salt Water. Transfer Livestock, Heater and Wavemaker. Top off with what's left from Livestock bucket and then turn on equipment.

I wasn't able to pick up any MicroBactor 7, but do have Aqua Forest Life Source that I dose/mix 1 once a week between my 2 tanks. I planned on waiting until Sunday to do that, or is it worth doing right away? I worry about stressing the 1 clown enough from the transfer. I do have some extra rock/media from my main tank that I can add to the filtration section, if you think that is needed? I did pick up 1 extra small dry rock to add to the aqua scape.

Looking for anything I missed, or a different way to do this. Thank you!
Also, I hope this is in the right forum. Mods, please move as needed.
