It looks like some sponge on the rock and perhaps a Bristle Worm or Peanut Worm.
And a fisty clownfish.

No you don't have to remove everything. You want diversity. Sponges typically aren't an issue. I am unsure of the worm ID.

Hard to tell exactly what kind of worm it is, usually I would remove them though.
