I'm looking for a wrasse for my 10gal Nuvo Fusion bare bottom. I thought about a Tanaka's, but everything says they are super shy. Any thoughts. It has to be reef safe.

Any of the wetmorella wrasses (including tanakas) or a pink streak are about your only choices. I think the pink streak stays a little smaller and has much more interesting movement.

Both genus of fish can and will jump (I lost my first pink streak after about a year), so make sure you have a well fitting lid.
