I have a very non-aggressive, 3 inch Naso Tang (Naso lituratus) and would like to add a similar sized Lined Tang (Acanthuras lineatus) into my 100gal reef tank. My understanding is that as long as they aren't the same genus they shouldn't fight. Does anyone know of a good tang-tang compatibility chart?

Clown tangs are generally regarded as very aggressive so that could cause problems. Both the naso and clown tang both can get over a foot and will outgrow a 100gal tank so that will amplify aggression problems.

So you'd advise against getting the clown tang. Okay. Thank you. Yeah my Naso is pretty good by himself. He loves my clownfish pair that hosts in my elegance coral. On a side, he is a pretty picky eater. Luckily I live in Japan and I can get lots of fresh nori and other seaweed in the grocery store.
