Have a naso tang that got a single white bump in between gills and face. Been watching it for a week and hasn’t spread. Appears to be skin color under white light and white under blue light is definitely raised and definitely hasn’t spread to any other fish or anywhere else on tang

Another possibility is a mucus plug. I have had that issue with a convict tang. The plug remained visible for several months before dropping off. Came back at another location 6 months later but only stuck around for a month the second time.

If that's what it is, really no treatment and no harm.

As @Sharkbait19 said, better pictures would help diagnosis.

Pictures best under white lighting for best assessment
Likely will be a result of injury, bacterial issue or cyst
The likely treatment will be seachem neoplex with seachem metroplex added to foods weighed at 5000gm

Or - waiting to see what happens.
PS - this is not a disagreement with @vetteguy53081 it's just a standard in medicine - watchful waiting often prevents the dangers treatment - and allows a clearer picture. IMHO - here - a clearer picture might help

IMHO - that fish looks thin - and overall not great. I would consider other issues potentially? Did you Qt, etc etc etc - there are a list of questions in my signature that might help you - answer what we need to help you?

Appears to be Abcess which is a fluid filled area of skin which often self-corrects by providing clean water quality and healthy diet along with vitamins such as selcon. This is not a flake and pellet fish and should be ed foods such as:

-Spirulina brine shrimp
- LRS Herbivore diet
- mysis shrimp
- small plankton
- Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract
- Hikari Marine cuisine
- Formula 2 flake and frozen
- Hikari veggie marine

Yes quarantined for 3 weeks I’m aware of what to feed as I have two thriving 125 gallon tanks with several other tangs. They only eat frozen shrimp or a mix of, and eat seaweed everyday. Have only had the fish a little over a month and seems healthy other than the one spot. Haven’t seen any spots like that previously so I appreciate the help
