Hello everyone,
This weekend I finally was able to get a naso tang at my LFS. I had been going back and forth about getting one and when I saw it I fell in love. I know Tangs can be very picky and they need algae and nori to eat. I have the omega one red seaweed and he seemed to like it but then I noticed he was just picking it off the clip and spitting it out. I have him in a quarantine tank and plan on going to the store tomorrow to buy a variety of food so that I can be prepared for him. He ate a little bit of the mysis and brine shrimp mixture. I will be purchasing rods food herbivore blend any other recommendations?

Green nori from grocery store should work. The purple stuff is more leafy and harder to digest.
If romaine lettuce, freeze the leaf first then thaw to separate the cellulose film off leaf for easy digestion
