Nassarius or Whelk

Went to grab a few snails to re-up the cleaning crew. Bought what looked to be (and were labeled as) large Nassarius snails. Getting them home I’m remembering that whelks exist and now I’m having doubts. The shells are not the typical all white I’ve bought in the past. Any help on guesses to whelk or nassarius would be appreciated.

Currently threw them in a dirty sump for easy catching so ignore the detritus haha.
