I bought a used tank and im in the middle of getting everything set up its pretty close to a 150 deep in terms of design.I have a 40b that I bought for the sump my question is should I go with a 20 long and have more room in my cabinet for dosing pump, ato and other equipment or keep with the 40b and figure it out tetris style?I'm posting pics for reference

The 20 long will certainly make it easier in the cabinet, but it can be done with the 40b. You'll just have to get creative with the placement and plumbing.

Never once have I regretted going with a larger sump. I have, however, spent countless hours and lots of $$$ cleaning up after having too small of one.
