need advice: How to stop the base of a hydno from spreading

I have a hydnopora that has gotten too close to a teal stag and green slimmer. Is there any way other than physical removal? kalk paste?? other??

You can kill it with Kalk or use mounting Putty to smother it and create a barrier, I did a similiar thing to my War coral by placing a Rock on top of half the colony to kill it!

If you can take the rock out I always use salt mix. Just rub some dry mix on the area you want to stop. It will kill whatever it touches. Then just use some epoxy and make a small barrier over the dead spot.

You can give that colony to me, that will stop it from touching anything else in your tank... LOL
