Yes,Well spread it out throught the day. Dump 20-25 mls at a time. The mag and cal arent a problem, with alk you have to take slow because it raises the ph

By any chance are you using the Red Sea reef sp c carbon?? I started yesterday and I was curious as to wear to place it. I have it under the filter socks where the water is coming down from my socks because they need to be swapped

You have a red sea tank correct? No i use vertex r0x carbon. Anywhere were the water will flow through the media, where you have it its fine. You could also toss it in the bubble trap or inside the filter sock

Very nice set up bro
I see you have a lot to f corals In there. Id like to try one sps coral as I have none and I have a side in my tank with too much flow for my LPs and I'd like to put an sps there. I hear about birds nest being forgiving but with my current parameters I don't think it'll workout too well. How are your anthias working out for you? Once my nitrates are down I want to get a school of some sort
Either 5 chromis or 3-5 anthias.

Thank you, youll get the hang of it. In the meantime i wouldnt be breaking my neck over nitrates, mine run around 8-12. Just keep my p04 low and you shouldnt run into problems. Why would sps be a problem? You just have to keep up with testing and good husbandry + try to make everything easy. A birdsnest is deffinitly a good start, some longterm aquacultured acros like a red planet would be good also. The first thing you should do though is to spend the money on an ro unit and mix your own salt, im sure theres a local forum were you can get a ro unit for around 40-50 bucks. My anthias are doing great, and there acually at the top of the most finicky species, i bought them healthy so im sure thats why ive ben having success with them. I love chromis lol, ive never had a tank without them

Looks great, people make sps out to be very difficult, but imo theyre just delicate to tank neglection. Just get your dosing right, and stick with the same routine. If you can grow coralline algae without constantly killing it you can grow sps lol
