Hi y'all,
I joined this site a year or so ago, to learn about reef aquariums, because my husband and I always wanted one. Since then, we bought 2 55 gal tanks that he has kept freshwater tropical fish in. We've since decided that in our mid 70s.....we are NOT fish people. I know this is reef only, but I need direction or referral to this site's freshwater cousin. We have an 8 inch Plecostomus that is yellow colored and 2 black and white spotted that are around 3-4 inches. We can sell the tanks easily, I'm sure, but I just want to make sure the fish end up somewhere good. Appreciate anyone who can direct me.
We are located in N TX, about 70 miles north of Dallas.
Thanks,
Deb in N TX

Welcome to R2R! I encourage you to reach out to a local fish store or a local pond store. Also, you can offer the fish up for low or no cost on craigslist (or equivalent) in your area. 8" plecostomus can be a bit of a challenge to rehome and so it is unlikely that you will be able to get much, if any, remuneration for it. Good luck!
