I have a 65 gallon Sea Red Sea Tank.. I need to clean the tank and gravel today. However I have two questions.
1. My anenomes are spllitting fast. What would you advis?. I am an aneome person but what if they continue to split? Are they unhappy?
2. What is good for keeping the gravel clean? I have purchased snails but it does not work?

I have attached a picture.

Thanks !

You can clean with the splitting going on. Just dont disturb one that is splitting or get sand on it
Cleaning gravel removes, detritus, waste, uneaten food and reduces ammonia/nitrate. You donnt necessarily have to get every inch but vacuum in a zig zag pattern to remove SOME waste. There are areas you will never reach and thats ok

Keep your water parameter stable especially salinity and temperature. And don’t feed them. Don’t mess with water flow and light too much either. Those are all variables that stresses them out and then cause them to split.

If you are able to automate and keep things steady they will grow big. Some will still split but very rarely.
